Children's Week 2018
Florida's Children's Week is the only annual event held in the state of Florida that celebrates and honors its commitment to children and advocates. This legendary event began more than 20 years ago during the tenure of Governor Lawton Chiles. This year, the event was held the week of January 21. Circle of Parents, Prevent Child Abuse Florida and Healthy Families Florida participated throughout the week with table displays of program information which provided hours of networking opportunities with fellow participants. Circle of Parents Training
Earlier this year Circle of Parents provided a 2-day refresher training to the Early Learning Coalition of Broward. This refresher training is recommended every 2 years in order to keep your group leaders informed of the latest educational tools and information. We would like to welcome the Apalachee Center's Community Action Team (CAT) to our Circle of Parents family! The CAT program provides a full range of services to clients ages 11-21 who require more intense forms of treatment throughout Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla counties.
