In preparation for Child Abuse Prevention Month, Prevent Child Abuse Florida recently hosted a webinar training on evidence-based messaging standards to equip coordinators and stakeholders with an understanding of the Pinwheels for Prevention Campaign. The training was provided in a web-based format and covered the evolution of public awareness efforts for child abuse prevention beginning in the 1970's through today. The training also provided an overview of the campaign evaluation activities that have been tested with young parents in Florida. For those of you that missed the presentation and are interested in hearing it at your convenience, you may access it at the following link: http://ounce.na5.acrobat.com/p74237065/. |
