Recently, PCA Florida hosted two webinars. One webinar presented the Winds of Change evaluation. This presentation shared research methods and results from an evaluation and efficacy study on Florida’s public awareness campaign to prevent child abuse and neglect. The evaluation implemented two studies with different research designs and methodologies. Another webinar was presented in partnership with Children’s Week and Thomas Media Partners. This presentation included tips on how to successfully promote your community event to local media; when and how to submit press releases, opinion editorials, and letters to the editor to your local media outlets and provides tips on ways to make sure they are printed and covered by the press.
